This month, WMN Wednesday was at the woman-owned Angel Share HTX!
We were all happy to support a mission-led business in the heart of downtown. Angle Share has raised over $1.3 million for local charities since 2013. When you purchase a drink or food item, you receive tickets to vote for one of four charities to win a portion of the bar’s proceeds. They select Houston-based 501(c)3 non-profits they believe significantly impact the local community. All of the charities win a portion of the proceeds, and donations are made biannually to all the participants.
Not only did our members get to select other charities to support, but they also got to know each other better. A special thank you goes out to our board members, members, and new friends who joined us.
We can’t wait for the next WMN Wednesday to support another Houston-based women-owned business!
